Interesting take on Poland's opting out of the Libya campaign. I would concur with the conclusion that opting out here will not harm Poland in NATO or with the US. Six F16's here is much, much less meaningful than more than two thousand troops in Regional Command East in Afghanistan. The Poles have been willing to put themselves in harm's way in a mission that matters far more to the US and, ultimately, to NATO.
Still, an interesting story to follow as the public opinion story is an easy one to convey and to buy, but the Libyan mission is not tremendously popular for some of the contributors either.
